Type A filter aggregate
Type A filter aggregates are supplied as graded and single-sized crushed rock and gravel. Used for drainage and filter material such as pipe bedding, haunching and pipe surrounds.
CONFORMS TO: Series 500 of the SHW (Specification for Highway Works): Clause 503 for size; Clause 505 for aggregates used.
