Nationwide Delivery – Soils, Aggregates & Construction Waste Management
Two of the latest parks from the skatepark specialists Maverick are now complete. The Marsh Skatepark at Weymouth opened in April 2022 and the brand new Winchester King George V (KGV) will be officially opened on Saturday 11 June 2022. The KGV replaced an old, tired skatepark on the site previously.
Shaped, formed and surrounded by in excess of 200 tonnes of topsoil supplied by MCM, the two South Coast parks are the latest in a growing number of skatepark and parkour facilities across the UK.
Maverick incorporate ideas from the local community and BMX riders into their designs and have polished the concept and creation of the formed parks into a new artform. With over 100 skateparks now enjoying visits from skaters, BMXers and scooter riders across the country, the concept has been realised with young people, open space and community at its heart.
Sue Mitchener, Maverick’s Director, has been working with Darrel and the MCM team for a number of years and always finds their collaboration to be “very helpful and responsive.”
The MCM team have a long association with Maverick Skateparks and have been working closely with them to ensure regular, consistent quality supply of topsoil to their work programmes in many of the 100 new parks across the UK.
