Lightweight Subsoil
A specialist blend of sand and lightweight aggregate for green roofs, roof gardens and podium landscapes. Its lower structural impact allows for deeper planting, supporting healthy tree and plant establishment. The lighter subsoil contains engineered aggregates to prevent waterlogging and allow excess water to freely drain.
Whilst free draining, the lightweight composition is blended to retain enough moisture and nutrients for plant health and growth. Its porosity promotes strong root development, allowing oxygen to reach and circulate.
Supplied in 1m3 and 0.6m3 bags, MCM Lightweight Subsoil can be blended to specification on request.
