MOT Type 1x
MOT Type 1x is a primary aggregate, graded and available from 40mm down to dust, with reduced fines.
Easily compacted with excellent load bearing strength, it is widely used in highway, hard standing and building bases, as well as a sub base for sports pitches and high traffic, high impact areas.
Complies with MOT (or DOT) Type 1x specification for granular sub-base for Highway Works, clause 803 (SHW 803).
