The soil, muck and waste you remove will likely be a mix of materials and will need to be handled differently. If you do not know the exact mix or content, rapid testing can give you a swift, accurate steer, with reporting and remediation directions. The first step to assess, classify and begin removal and any remediation is MCM’s on-site Rapid Testing service. The MCM team can be on site quickly – even the same day of your call. Unlike traditional testing (WAC, air-dried), it does not take weeks to retrieve the data.

The MCM Waste Management team will take representative samples of the materials and have the results back to you swiftly (often within 24 hours). The full report and classification will outline the characteristics and physical properties of the soil beneath your construction, civil and environmental projects.

Our testing services are provided by MCERTS laboratory partners. Our partners test for heavy metal and hydrocarbon contamination in soils and other excavated materials. This allows for better segregation of hazardous materials and increases the ability to divert waste from landfill.

Once we know what we are up against, the MCM Waste Management team can take it from here, with regular full suite tests at appropriate intervals to validate the results.
