Plate-bearing testing (or plate load testing) measures ground-bearing capacity as well as settlement characteristics of the ground on site.

Part of MCM’s Ground Testing services and including on-site sampling, soil evaluations and reporting from our verified ground testing laboratory partners, these tests ensure that soils can support heave loads like piling mats or crane pads.
