Foam concrete fill supply to Thames Water

Amersham household recycling centre is under development. Its construction is being managed through the main contractor. The site team have been supported by MCM with multiple foam concrete deliveries on a daily basis, totalling 1200 cubic metres.

This has filled the tanks, ready for reinforced concrete pads before completion.

Regular scheduled deliveries

The specialist concrete team at MCM have been in close liaison with the main contractor throughout November 2024.  In the redevelopment programme of the recycling centre, three old water tanks required filling.

Discussing best options, delivery programmes and volumes required, MCM set to the supply of over 100 cubic metres on day one.  The tanks were to be filled and a reinforced concrete pad across each.  This would then enable the loadbearing and positioning of new machinery at the recycling centre.

Completing the tank fills as they headed towards December, the third and final tank was completed after 9 loads one day and then a further 8 loads to finish.

Continuing to deliver daily on site throughout early January 2025, the MCM team are now busy supplying 300 cubic metres of C40 ready mixed concrete.
