IBA aggregates for sustainable construction in Bletchley

Delivering around 15,000 tonnes to this site in Bletchley near Milton Keynes over the last few weeks (June 2024), the client and MCM as a supplier have been able to meet and maintain their commitments to sustainable construction. MCM were able to source Incinerated Bottom Ash aggregates in 1A fill and Type 1 size to expand the recycled aggregate availability in the area. This allowed the client to complete the project within budget, without detracting from its sustainability goals.

Sub base for roads and paths

Across the development, the IBAA has been used to prepare the sub-base for roadways and paths. This has diverted waste from landfill and has repurposed existing non-hazardous waste material for its new use, ensuring natural resources are protected.
