Air Entraining Admixture (AEA)

Air-entraining Admixtures are chemical additives added to concrete mixes. These create small air bubbles within the concrete, helping the concrete to resist any damage when freezing/thawing takes place. A durable Winter-safe admixture that allows for natural expansion and contraction without cracking.

Supplied when in mixes in drums or in separately in tanks fitted to volumetric trucks and mixed on site to the correct specification.
