Type B filter aggregate
Type B filter aggregates are often used as a lightweight backfill for retaining walls or weakened embankments. Supplied as graded and single-sized crushed rock and gravel, can also be used for pipe bedding, drainage and decorative purposes.
CONFORMS TO: Series 500 of the SHW (Specification for Highway Works): Clause 503 for size; Clause 505 for aggregates used.
